The market share of Islamic banking assets as of September 2020 increased from 4.87% in 2015 to 6.24%. Total Islamic financial assets have reached Rp. 1,802.82 trillion or 9.89 percent of the total national financial assets. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has determined the strategic issues of Islamic banking for 2020-2025, including differentiation, technology adoption, and literacy. The new community literacy index reached 8.93 percent compared to the conventional system which reached 37.72 percent.
