Telah dilaksanakan Sidang Senat Terbuka Ujian Promosi Doktor pada hari Jum’at, 21 Juli 2022 oleh Program Pascasarjana Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Sidang tersebut bertempat di Aula Selatan Lt. 4 Gedung Pascasarjana Kampus 2 UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Sidang berlangsung mulai dari pukul 09:00 dan berakhir pada pukul 11:00 WIB.
Sidang Senat Terbuka diadakan dalam rangka pengukuhan gelar Doktor bagi promovendus atas nama Asep Abdul Aziz dari Prodi S3 Pendidikan Islam. Judul penelitian dalam disertasi Dr.Asep Abdul Aziz, M.Pd., adalah, “Penetapan Metode Ibrah-Mauizah dalam Pembelajaran Quran-Hadis untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Materi dan Akhlak Karimah Santri (Studi Eksperimen terhadap Santri Kelas VII di MTs Persis, dan MTs Muhammadiyah Kota Bandung ”. Pada sidang kali ini, Direktur Pascasarjana UIN SGD Bandung, Prof. Dr. Supiana, M.Si., CSEE., hadir sebagai Pimpinan Sidang.
Pelaksanaan sidang berjalan secara khidmat dan lancar. Diawali dengan pembukaan acara oleh Pimpinan Sidang, kemudian presentasi penelitian dalam disertasi oleh promovendus, dilanjutkan sesi tanya jawab dari jajaran Oponen Ahli terhadap promovendus. Secara keseluruhan, jajaran Penguji menganggap bahwa promovendus sangat menguasai topik kajian yang diangkat dalam penelitian serta pemahaman terhadap fenomena yang baik.
Berdasarkan kegiatan Sidang Senat Terbuka ini, secara resmi promovendus dinyatakan lulus dengan Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) 3.87 dengan kategori pujian. Dr. Asep Abdul Aziz, M.Pd.I., dinyatakan sebagau Doktor ke 672 yang diluluskan Pascasarjana UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung dan Doktor ke 290 di Bidang Studi Pendidikan Islam Pascasarjana UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Rangkaian kegiatan pun diakhiri dengan sesi foto bersama serta ucapan syukur dan terimakasih dari promovendus bagi seluruh pihak terkait.
The Open Senate Session of the Doctoral Promotion Examination has been held on Friday, July 21, 2022 by the Postgraduate Program of the State Islamic University of Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The trial took place in the South Hall, Lt. 4 Postgraduate Building Campus 2 UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The trial started at 09:00 and ended at 11:00 WIB.
The Open Senate Session was held in order to inaugurate the Doctorate title for promovendus on behalf of Asep Abdul Aziz from the Islamic Education Doctoral Study Program. The title of the research in Dr. Asep Abdul Aziz, M.Pd.’s dissertation, is, “Determination of the Ibrah-Mauizah Method in Quran-Hadith Learning to Improve Material and Moral Understanding of Karimah Santri (Experimental Study of Class VII Santri at MTs Persis, and MTs Muhammadiyah Bandung City.” At this session, the Postgraduate Director of UIN SGD Bandung, Prof. Dr. Supiana, M.Sc., CSEE., was present as Chair of the Session.
Proceeded solemnly and smoothly. Starting with the opening of the event by the Chair of the Session, then the presentation of the research in the dissertation by the promovendus, followed by a question and answer session from the Expert Oponents to the promovendus. Overall, the Examiners considered that promovendus was very well versed in the topic of study raised in the research as well as a good understanding of the phenomenon.
Based on the activities of the Open Senate Session, the promovendus was officially declared to have passed with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.87 in the category of Cumlaude. Dr. Asep Abdul Aziz, M.Pd.I., was declared the 672th Doctor who graduated from the Postgraduate Program at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung and the 290th Doctorate in the Field of Islamic Education Studies Postgraduate at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The series of activities ended with a group photo session as well as thanksgiving and gratitude from promovendus to all related parties.
