The Open Senate Session of the Doctoral Promotion Examination has been held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 by the Postgraduate Program of the State Islamic University of Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The trial took place in the South Hall, Lt. 4 Postgraduate Building Campus 2 UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The trial started at 13:00 and ended at 15:00WIB.

The Open Senate Session was held in order to inaugurate the Doctorate title for promovendus on behalf of Hurti Budiyanti from the Islamic Education Doctoral Program. The title of the research in the dissertation of Dr. Hurti Budiyanti, M.Ag., is, “Development of the Ulul Ilmi Model in Islamic Religious Education Learning to Improve Student Character (Research at the Indonesian Education University)”. In this session, Deputy Director I Postgraduate UIN SGD Bandung, Dr. Ajid Thohir, M.Ag was present as Chair of the Session.

Based on the activities of the Open Senate Session, the promovendus was officially declared to have passed with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.82 in the PRAISE category. Dr. Hurti Budiyanti, M.Ag., was declared the 701st Doctoral graduate from UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung Postgraduate and Doctorate 68070 in the Field of Postgraduate Islamic Education Studies at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The series of activities ended with a group photo session as well as thanksgiving and gratitude from promovendus to all related parties.
